It really is true what they say – they don’t make top hats like they used to. Vintage silk top hats were made using a material that is now longer produced, making them impossible to replicate. 

 

Originally designed for men, over the years our head size has gradually increased meaning that most of the vintage top hats left in circulation no longer fit the modern-day man. Their loss, however, is very much our gain! At Camilla King Millinery we believe that a top hat makes a serious style statement and look amazing on women too.

 

Each top hat is sourced individually and can be trimmed totally bespoke to you. As these are vintage products there can be varying levels of wear and tear, but we believe this only adds to their character and charm.
